Surely the vet you see at the time will prescribe the term/amount of tablets they think will be effective for your cat and their condition? Obviously you should then make sure they take them for the full period.
Maybe I'm not getting the question? From personal experience my cat has been prescribed antibiotics in the past for on average a week to 10 days, usually with a check up at the end of that period to see if they seem to have been effective and I assume to possibly prescribe more if not. She's on some at the moment that have lasted about two weeks but she's not had one every day (has gone on a sliding scale).0 -
