balls up just been on radio calling for a vat cut without explaining where the ££ comes from.
Don't you just love the fool.
He is a fool. But he is seeking the votes of fools. And with fools telling them what they want to hear works wondersNo-one would remember the Good Samaritan if he'd only had good intentions. He had money as well.
The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money.

Actually, the consumers for my frack gas are likely to be in China or India, because they will pay more! I'm not bothered which sites we use, to be on the safe side we should use both.

I take it, as long as it is not near you
'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -
....and the prat who is asleep at the wheel is doing a good job is he?
Unbelievably complacent!
Well yes actually I recon we should count our blessings and look across the waters to France, Spain, Italy, Greece, Ireland & Portugal who will see their living standards cut by a third in the next 10yrs. No growth is of course bad but we have low interest rates and if we can start being a tad more productive we may find we can compete with the rest of the world (provided we let business get on and not drown it in red tape).
Where is this 'growth' going to come from Balls is just suggesting we all go back to the binge party as the only book on finance he has read suggests you spend your way out of a recession. DOH!!!0 -
"Well yes actually I reckon we should count our blessings and look across the waters to" The Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Finland, which have low unemployment rates, low inflation and continued to grow through most of the global recession.0
