    Hi All :Hello:

I am off on my jollys on 12th so I am setting my July Target at 18, I am really going to try hard this month, been on a downward spiral, drank far too much again over the weekend & the guilt I feel at this is horrible :o. Can I do the SNC even though our schools are finished :rotfl:I had wine last night so can't count that so I will go for 4 SNC's please Gien.
Antonic - well done on becoming DF!! :T

Confirming an alcohol free June, an alcohol free past 3 months and 91 days in a row. On Wednesday at around 5pm I'll break my personal best to date.

Hello all. I've been reading through quite a lot of this thread over the past couple of weeks, and I'd love to join in if there is room for another.

The past couple of months I have managed to cut down from drinking nearly every single day to having 15 days AF in May and 14 in June. I'd like to at least continue along this path so would like to set a Target of 16 AF Days for July. A secondary target, but not as important, is that I would like to have seven of those days be consecutive. I managed five consecutive days in May, and six in June, so seven would be nice, but I'm not as bothered about that as I am about the total days.

I'm fed up of feeling just generally under the weather all the time. I didn't drink anything last night, but I've got a queasy stomach that I seem to get as a secondary hangover from drinking the previous night. I have things I would like to have got done today, but feeling so queasy is stopping me from getting on with anything.

I also smoke (and have no real intention of giving up at the moment) and like most people I tend to smoke a lot more when drinking which I think contributes to my not feeling good most of the time.

Anyway, if there are any rules I should know about, could someone point me towards the relevant posts - I'd hate to upset anyone by saying/doing the wrong thing in such an important thread.

    School Night Challenge

    Contenders and scores so far:

    Gien 0/4
    41 AIKI 1/5
    Freebyfifty 0/4
    Joanne 0/4
    macpep 0/4
    Shaggy 1/5

I've had a great day so far - in fact I have been offered a job - part time teaching biology in a local college. The pay is fine, although I feel a little concerned because I've had quite a long time where I haven't worked at all (at least only voluntary and in the home).

Realistically it'll occupy more like 24 hours of my time by the time I have done planning etc. but it is quite exciting and could be the start of something bigger.
Haven't accepted yet as I need to discuss it with OH, but I really do want to have a go at it.
    Trying to keep in budget.

I've thought about joining the School night challenge but not sure there's much point when my objectives are different to the point that I'm a few weeks short of a school TERM challenge ;)

Hi Julz, welcome to the forum. The only rule we have is to support each others efforts :-)

1 AFD to kick start Jolly July for me, please.

Have been crippled by sciatica since Thursday, but an hour long walk today seems to have sorted me out, hurray!
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?
