I don't think Mushers Secret has any essentials oils in it, it's just natural waxes.
Yes my dog tries to lick it off if he has realises I have applied it. I try and put it on whilst he's asleep. However, even if he does lick it off, because it's natural waxes, it has already soaked into the skin enough to protect the paws.0
