Incorrect Mileage History on MOT any suggestions please

I only have a low yearly mileage....
I have just received my MOT and in the new 'Odometer reading and history' box I notice that my 2012 MOT mileage has been recorded incorrectly.

On the actual 2012 MOT the mileage is correct, so obviously when this new system came into force last year the data from my 2012 MOT was input incorrectly by approx 50,000 miles.
Having queried the new 2013 MOT (also correct mileage) I was told that it was VOSA that was responsible for that information so I should phone them.

I phoned VOSA who said there was nothing they could do about last years MOT certificate and I should have noticed it last year. I would have then had 7 days to have had it put right.

I again explained that my problem was with the 'history mileage' on the 2013 MOT certificate not the actual MOT mileage. The reply was maybe I had a new odometer or something. I said no and was worried it might look suspicious. He said "these things happen and probably someone put the data in incorrectly". Either way there was nothing I could do about it.

I am now stumped as my history reads
2013 - 44219
2012 - 92333 - should be 43563
2011 - 41564
2010 - 39192

Please, has anyone any ideas who I can contact to put my record straight or am I indeed stuck with this incorrect certificate. Thanks in advance

Best bet will be to speak to your local VOSA enforcement office rather than head office as it is they who deal with mileage queries.

I'm not sure you will get anywhere though

If you have a full service history don't worry about it. A genuine mistake on the vehicle inspector.
