Any comment? I release there are huge differences on school fees between UK and international students. How do university justify the fees they want to charge?

The difference between the fees is due to the funding that the universities receive from the government for UK and EU nationals.Gone ... or have I?0

International fees more nearly reflect the actual cost of the course;if fees were lower the British government would have to subsidise home students more. Like in most things, an organisation will charge as much as the market will stand.0 -
think of the costs in a uni - all the lecturers and secretarial staff in a department, all the buildings (often old and need a lot of upkeep), library and student services staff/buildings, sports facilities, practical labs, subsidised bars and canteens, central admin/accounts/personnel, students union facilities, security.......... it's a huge organisation to support. universities can be quite wealthy in terms of the land and buildings that they own, but converting that into actual money is difficult!
at least it's not as bad as the US, where people pay what it really costs.....! even with the increased fees, students aren't paying the majority of the costs themselves!:happyhear0
