You can bet Labour are cacking at the moment.
The characteristic response will be Balls coming up with some "soak the rich" scheme in the next week or two. This in the hope that some of their Eurosceptic followers can be lured back by some good old fashioned, dog-in-the-manger, redistributionary-for-its-own-sake socialism.No-one would remember the Good Samaritan if he'd only had good intentions. He had money as well.
The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money.

If you believed in the infallibility of the bookies you'd bet on the favourite in every horse race. Does anyone believe that would be the way to make a fortune ?No-one would remember the Good Samaritan if he'd only had good intentions. He had money as well.

I should imagine more favourites win than lose in 2 horse races, you are fully entitled to disagree on the odds and make yourself a few quid

These are just ante-post odds, we haven't got anywhere near starting prices yet.

Why do they need to lure voters back?
http://ukpollingreport.co.uk/Yesterday we had two polls conducted partially after the referendum announcement, from YouGov and TNS, neither of which showed any boost for the Conservatives. Today’s YouGov is the first conducted entirely after the referendum announcement and has topline figures of CON 33%, LAB 43%, LDEM 10%, UKIP 9% – so no obvious impact at all.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A week is a long time in politics, let alone two years.
Remember Kinnock ?No-one would remember the Good Samaritan if he'd only had good intentions. He had money as well.
