Yaris screenwash "jets".

I have a 2010 Toyota Yaris which is fitted with washer nozzles that produce an horizontal fan shaped spray. The driver's side nozzle is just spraying a single jet to the left but still to the windscreen.
I'm used to the adjustable jet type nozzles where any problem with the spray could usually be cured with a pin in the hole to adjust and/or clear any blockage.
These Yaris type have one comparitively large hole in each nozzle and the fan spray seems to be determined by the shape of the nozzle outlet.
They are definitely not frozen or partially frozen.
Is there any way, other than a new nozzle, or sticking a pin in the hole and moving it around a bit, that could fix this?

Most forum fixes seem to point to removing them, soaking in hot water maybe with a denture cleaning tablet, and sucking and blowing until clear. Ensure you are using a screenwash that is marked suitable for fan jets in future.0
