I uses a wireless adapter(ZyXEL) in the bedroom. It has been working perfectly until few days ago. I am ready to replace it but have to be sure if this is the problem.
Has anyone use this?
What could be the problem?
Cheers

What is the model of the unit?
Are there any lights on the unit? It might be a simple power adapter or a plug fuse.
Do you see the WiFi connection advertised but can't connect or is there no connection advertised at all?0 -
I'm assuming the OP is talking about a plugin USB wifi adapter. No power adapter, or fuse (or even lights usually) on these.
But you do raise a valid point ... are you sure your wifi is actually running Kay? Can you see your wifi network via another device? (e.g. phone, Ipod or tablet).0 -

You mean you can't see the SSID (wifi name) of your home wifi connection? Even using another device? If yes then changing the USB adapter that plugs into your PC will make no difference whatsoever - if the wifi signal isn't there then nothing will connect to it as it doesn't exist!0 -
Thanks

The USB adapter could be faulty, Do you see the device listed when it's plugged in?
Are you able to plug the adapter in a different USB port or a different machine (laptop/desktop) and see if the device is recognised?0
