Harvard Reference help!!

can anybody help me with my referencing please?

I need to know how i reference a internet site in the main body of my assignment.

I can do it fully in the bibliography but im unsure about the main text version.

I am using the harvard system

  • This is what i was told at uni last year:
    Web site citations
    Web site with author:
    • Cite the author and date as usual.
    Turner (2001) has created many useful graphs showing the transition between the different age groups.
    Web site without author:
    • Where the web page has no author whatsoever, use the title as the point of reference.
    Cancer experts estimate that changes to our diet could prevent about one in three cancer deaths in the UK (CancerHelp UK, 2002).
    However, where you are quoting from a web page from within a larger site and you do not have the author of the page, use the larger site as author.

    HEFCE (2001) outlines the decisions made in relation to funding for universities and colleges in 2002-2003.

    sorry if you know this already - but remember to put the date you accessed the website when you put it in your bibliography (pity anyone who gets me as their marker because i check that stuff!)
