Advice for paypal dispute please.

Hiya I bought an item on line and paid via Paypal.
3 days later I received a call at 6am, I'm thinking China due to the accent,
informing me the item is no longer in stock and hasn't been for a while, however if I paid more money they would send an alternative.
I wasn't happy so said no thank you and was told to wait for an email about cancelling ... It never came.
At this point I went to PayPal and filed a dispute the seller is now saying sorry I am unhappy drop the dispute and we will send a replacement item at no extra cost.
So the question is how does this process work, if I stop dispute and then get no item can I file again for a refund.
Thanks for reading hope someone can enlighten me

To be honest with you I would just request the refund and buy the item from elsewhere. There is no guarantee that you will get the more expensive item and I don't think you can open a dispute twice. It all smells a little bit fishy to me.Everyone has a dark side... apparently mine is called Harold?!? :huh:0

dont drop the dispute, you cant refile if you do, just get a refund and get elsewhere as redfraggle says,
or ell them you will drop the dispute once the item is recieved0 -
Thanks, I did have my concerns, will hold out now for refund.0
