It's another form of advertising I'm afraid. You don't say where you see these ads, but on forums it's usually only if you are not logged in as a registered user.hi

I believe they are called skimlinks, common on forums and blogs clicking on them generates revenue for the site they are on.0
-
They are on websites, but they can also be installed on your computer along with software (usually freeware) as a browser add-on, so you'll see them on whatever site you are on.0

Thanks all
They are on here and eBay and other forums. Anyway I can find out where they've come from and get rid or am I stuck with them? Thank youJames tucker

Either,
Disable all firefox extensions, then re-enable them one by one until you find the extension causing the problem.
Managing extensions: http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/extensions-add-features-to-firefox?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=Using+extensions+with+Firefox#w_managing-extensions
Or,
Download DDS from the link below and save it to your desktop:
Link
After you've downloaded it and saved it to your desktop:- Double click DDS to run it.
- When it's finished, DDS will open two logs:
- DDS.txt
- Attach.txt
Save both reports to your desktop.
Copy & paste the contents of just DDS.txt for now and post it here (you may need to split the log over separate posts)0 -
