GE Money Card never accepted at Toys r Us

The title says it all really!
My GE Money Credit card never works at Toys r Us
It works everywhere else and always has done for years.
It's something to do with Chip n Pin.
(And it's got nothing to do with the amount tendered - in fact the card fails before PIN entry so it hasn't even gone on line to the acquirer at that stage !)
But I'm not sure if it's GE Money's cards or Toy's r Us's software where the problem lies.
If anyone else has seen this please let me know so I can contact them to let them know.
