Copy of Mortgage Documents

Hi Folks,

I was just looking for some advice, I requested a copy of all documentation in relation to my mortgage with Northern Rocksubject access request. They sent me out a print out of the application (completed online by broker) however it has no signatures on it, I queried this and was told that I would have signed a declaration confirming everything within the app was true, I couldnt recall signing anything. NRAM and my broker are now saying they dont have a copy of any signed documentation at all. What documentation should they have? Is this right?

    Was your application inaccurate?

Many applications dont require signatures for the online submission side.

Why are you asking for mortgage documents for PPI? It wont appear on mortgage docs.

Whilst looking through the paperwork from the broker and Northern Rock I noticed that the information in relation to my income and expenditure is incorrect, the applicatio states that my outgoings are almost £300 less than what they actuall were, not that this reflects on the PPI however seems starnge that the broker put incorrect info on the application...who knows!!

Not sure what relevance the application form has.
  • I thought it would be mentioned, however if not thanks for the answer dunston. Whilst on the topic, is it normal for both companies to have no signed documents considering the mortgage is still going?
  • no bother thrugle, how would i find this out re ppi as i seem to be paying £42 per month more than i should be and nram can seem to tell me why.

Did you sign a direct debit mandate? Should also have signed a mortgage application declaration.

As of today the application would not proceed without these. Whether different at the time I don't know

They have no need to retain all the physical records (paperwork) pertaining to your application.
