    Quite the norm I would say & thanks for making me realise that it just wasn't us that had to suffer financial hardship due to hospitalisation.

    Plenty of nursing staff and doctors but Social Workers, they are like hens teeth!

    I've never seen one, didn't know they existed in hospitals.

    One thing that really does annoy me about hospitals is the complete lack of people to ask for help about life outside hospital. Stupidly, I told the DWP that my wife was in hospital. Her Attendance Allowance has been stopped and it is taking one heck of a job to get it back into payment. I now know that I need not have phoned them as it would not have affected her payments.
