Activity Superstore Pamper treat choice refund, is it possible?

My in laws brought me one of these as a present but I will never use it, due to various issues I have the very thought of this brings me out with panic attacks.
It was purchased from Boots and I have the gift receipt, it's all in tact and the box states refund Christmas 2012 can be do e til end of Jan.
How do I go about this? Do I take it back to Boots and will it be straightforward?
