I must be the soil voice of reason on this thread. But hay what do I know. I will just hedge my bets and back off before someone tells me to get sturfedA shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist.

I got mine delivered free from the experts Rolawn who have a good online calculator and ordering system. They cut it at 5am on the day of delivery and if for some reason there is an unexpected delay (say a lorry breaks down) they throw it all away and recut new stuff the next day.

Rolawn is the best you can get, I have never seen turf as good anywhere
else. Not true about throwing it away tho but it always comes with
a guarantee. :j0 -
I was in B&Q in Salford buying bedding plants.
They have an offer on of buy 3 trays of 24 for £9. I was talking to the guy there and he said tomorrow alot of the bedding plants would be reduced to £1 :T as they had to clear a lot of stock as sales were poor due to the bad weather.
He had already reduced loads of trays down to £2. Some of the trays were a bit manky but there were plenty that were in perfect condition.0 -
I got 3 lots for £9 yesterday, some marigolds, petunia and germanium's, great price.0

Thank you chocomonsta,
Went yesterday and got 8 trays of plants for either 50p or 1 pound a tray. Have got them all planted up now and am looking forward to a nice cheap display once they bloom.0 -
Great(!) Am cheesed off because on Saturday I bought three trays of Petunias from B&Q at £2.99 each and a slightly larger tray at something like £4.50. Came to around £15 in total. Grrr...0
