British Gas
Hi All
Can anyone tell me the answer to this question.
I collate my duel fuel meter reading for Brithish Gas each month, they email me on the 2oth and I normally respond within 2 days. I've just realised that they then work out what my months bill would be on the 27th of the month which is my bill date. Now the rub is they don't change my meter readings and they start the next months bill from the day after the reading I give. To me this means that I pay British Gas for an extra 4 days each month for both fuels.
I've just sent my readings across so as an example:
Electricity:
Last meter reading taken 22/12/12
Last bill date and payment request - 27/12/12
spend to date Calc. 23/12 - 23/01 -- £82.14
Predicted bill 23/12 - 27/01 -- £91.39
Start date for next months bill -- 23/01
This seems as though I'm paying an extra 48 days for each fuel cost per year.
Can anyone come to my rescue.
