Bank Holiday parking question - Chelmsford

If I park my car in a "max 2 hrs Mon - Sat" zone on Bank Holiday Monday in Chelmsford (specifically), do I run the risk of a penalty? I have scoured the web for info and there does not seem to be a general rule on this. Each council seems to have their own rules - some treat it as a Sunday, others don't.

I would greatly appreciate any clarification for Chelmsford. Couldn't find any info on the council website.

A lot of Councils operate normal weekday parking controls on Bank Hols. Suggets you phone Chelmsford Council and ask them what their policy is. If they say no control, then if it were me I would get the name, title and department of the person giving the advice to you.

The only time you see a traffic warden where I live is on a bank holiday Monday.
They do a roaring trade, the sign says mon-sat yet for some reason drivers still think bank holiday Mondays don't fall on a Monday
