Why do some words appear in red?

The two words "the" and "of" appear in red in all posts on this site. It is only on this site (MSE) and it happens whether or not I am logged in. I have not consciously done anything on the keyboard to cause this to happen. It started happening yesterday morning but it stopped after a while and was okay for the rest of the day. However, it has started happening again this morning. Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can prevent it from doing so in future please? Thank you.

Took me a while but I've figured this one out by looking at the web address. When showing the two words in red the address reads:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4383839
when corrected the web address reads:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4383839
The first address includes the word "highlight". When I deleted this the words "the" and "of" no longer appeared in red.0
