Am I entitled?

Hi I'm new to this, but need to ask for advise.. I'm a married mom of two (6&2) my husband works, we live in private rented house. We claim working tax, child tax, DLA ( as my 2 year old is registered disabled) and I get careers allowance. There is currently talk at my husbands work where he could be given the opportunity to go abroad and work, which would mean all of us moving to of course. It's still within the EU, but would we or i still be entitled to any sort of support if we did make the move? Like I say it's only talk at this point.....

Are u asking if you can go abroad but still keep getting the generous amounts of benefits from the UK tax payer? My answer is no but I wont be surprised if someone came and said yes.0

What sort of support? Are you UK national? How much does your husband earn? Where would you be relocating to? Would his employer likely to be offering a relocation package? You need to give far more information in order for anyone to answer.0

I would have thought if he will be working within the eu,and he is on the same wage then you would still be entitled..When you look at people from other country's who are working here can get CTC for children who don't even live in the uk.0

You can still have the DLA. I don't think you can get anything else. There are special rules if you are employed overseas by a British company though, so it might be worth asking the Tax Credits people.
The UK's Benefits rules are very generous compared with European countries. Many of ours are residency-based, which means if you live in the UK you are entitled to them. Most other EU countries depend upon you paying something in before you can have anything out.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -

If you are that worried about retaining your benefit entitlement why doesn't your husband just go on his own and come back regularly?
My BIL lives in the UK with his family, yet I can't remember the last time he had a job in the UK. Currently he is somewhere in the back of beyond in Nigeria and will be home in June after he completes his 6 month contract. He will be home for a month and after that he will be off to Indonesia for 6 months.0 -
You will be eligible to the child related benefits that apply in the country you move to. In some UK countries these will be more generous than the UK, in others less.
The DLA and CA are exportable.0 -
