These questions are being asked for a friend who received £4,250 in October 2011.
How much savings could one have had in October 2011 when receiving Income Support? Would Income Support want to know how this money was spent or want a breakdown of when and where it was spent?

It's a nice thought having over £4000 in the bank and still be entitled to full means tested benefits. Wouldn't your friend want to do the right thing and use it to live off for a while and save the rest of us having to cover his/her benefit payments? Even if it is only for 6 months?0
