Does the flight checker pass details on to airlines?

A week a go I priced up a return flight, the price was 168, the next day it was 175, the day after that it was 211, this morning I checked the same flight on my girlfriends computer, it was 160. I go back on my computer and it's 220!
Feels as if someone is monitoring what flight I'm interested in and lumping more on each time.
