domestic & general washing machine right off

I am hoping someone can help regarding an ongoing claim with domestic and general. I have a Hotpoint washer dryer that has been written off as it is not economical to repair. They want me to replace it with another Hotpoint, Indestit or creda as they are part of the same group. However I dont want any of these brands. I am willing to pay more for something like AEG or Bosch. The person on the phone explained that I cant do this. Does anyone know if there is a way in which this may be possible?

Check the policy conditions when they write off a machine and see if they stipulate what brands you must buy.
Then take it from there if they are trying it on!0 -
Its like for like on my D&G policyDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
