but which one of the two
has anyone used either ....... it's a minefield out there0 -
Which? has recently done a survey show that over the life of a printer the major cost is the print consumables.
Check the report then find out if you can get a third party replacement or cheaper still refill the print cartridge.
Harry
PS HP tend to be well engineered robust and reliable - and their UK MD was on the radio the other day winging about cheap refilled Tesco cartridges.0 -
Well the two printers are separated by a few things....
I think either will do the job for you really well, the big consideration is do you need/want the higher tray capacity, print speeds and duty cycle of the P3005, because you have to pay for it!
I have used many HP printers, and supported many as well, in the end, so long as you specify the right one for your needs, you wont go far wrong.0 -
thanks fg.
what does duty cycle mean?
we print a lot!0 -
In this context, duty cycle is pages per month.
From memory the P3005 has ten times the duty cycle of the lower model, but at 100,000 pages that is a lot of printing!
Its not that a printer with only a 10,000 page per month duty cycle wont print more, the components just arent designed for it.0 -
Which means if it breaks under guarantee, they'll say you were overusing it ...Its not that a printer with only a 10,000 page per month duty cycle wont print more, the components just arent designed for it.
had THAT argument with our photocopier supplier!Signature removed for peace of mind0
