the house and debt is all in my name. i dont work, my partner works full time and pays for everything. how do i stand regarding bankruptcy will his wages be taking into account? cant see how it should when its not his debt. obviously i cant make ipa, any help would be appreciated regarding this.

Hi and Welcome to the Bankruptcy (BR) Board. First step is to make a list of all your creditors, debts and assets. Secondly and most important is contact one of the following debt charities. Please try these they don't charge and are impartial. They will go through all your options with you and if they suggest bankruptcy then come back to this board and we will help you all we can. Also if your not ‘clicking’ with one of the Debt charities do try another. We advise you to try at least two others for your own piece of mind. Your BR could be refused if you have not sought advice.

sorry im back again lol
when im doing the soa do i put partners monthly income cos i dont get anything0 -
might help if i read it properly eh ive just seen a space for income0
-
hi...someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I seem to recall it isn't mandatory for a partner's income to be stated? No, I don't think all other drivers are idiots......but some are determined to change my mind.......0
-
Hi,
It's not mandatory. If you don't declare your partners income they just presume they contribute 50% of household expenses.
When I filled in my BR forms I wasn't earning anything either so I put my income as just the child benefit, listed the household outgoings and then in the partners contribution box just put the full amount of the outgoings.0 -
You fill in the SoA so you show your full outgoings for the house you live in when you go BR, your own personal outgoings. Any income you have ie: child benefit, JSA etc. and what your partner contributes to the household, you don't have to put his ull income just what he pays to make the books balance.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0
