Pork Belly - Slow cooker?

Hi
I'm not sure if I have put this in the right place or not so feel free to move if not.
Anyway, I recently got a slow cooker and I also recently bought one of the M&S pork belly joints in their meat and veg for £5 deal. The pork belly is "herb crusted aromatic pork belly with a sundried tomato and basil basting sauce".
I was wondering if I could cook this in the slow cooker and if so if anyone had any suggestions as to how? I'm thinking it will need some liquid with it but I'm not sure what?
Thanks

Not really what I was hoping for, lol! May have to just stick with the convential oven for this one, I'm just very excited by my new slow cooker!:)0 -
Would only ever roast belly pork. Too much fat for anything else.0

I wouldn't do that pork in there as it really does need the heat of a proper oven - we got it on a recent dine in from there and it wasn't overly fatty when cooked but the crust on the top was really nice and would just sweat to nothing in a slow cooker. (Watch out as the sauce to top it with is pretty spicy!)
I would however recommend the slow cooker for spare ribs if you're just looking for something else to cook in it. Cook them in cheapo BBQ sauce sat on a trivet of onion halves for as long as you dare. Baste them in more fresh BBQ sauce when they're done and finish through the oven for 10mins. By far the best ribs we've ever had0 -
Concur with roasting a pork belly, they crisp up real nice, but beware of breaking teeth on the crackling! So far I have lost one wisdom and 2 molars. Wisdom root still in, but molars have now been crowned.0

Thanks for the comments.
I have made crispy chinese pork belly quite a lot and this is done in the oven so I'll stick to that method for this cut then.
Will be giving those ribs a try though - yum!0 -
