Do you mean the remote central locking wont unlock? Clear the windows and it should be fine.
If its still not unlocking, try the key in all of the locks, boot too, to try and unlock.
If its unlocking OK but the doors are stuck, pour a pint of warm, not hot, water all round the door, open it and dry the ice off of the seals. (Some coat the seals with KY Jelly to prevent this).0 -
if your talking about useing the remote to unlock? then there should be a conventional blade key built into the remote key,use this to unlock manualy0

If its a E9* car pull the locking fuse and refit. It should work again !"Dream World" by The B Sharps....describes a lot of the posts in the Loans and Mortgage sections !!!0

Happens to both cars during this weather at mine.
Disconnect the battery for 10 minutes and it sorted the problem for me
(Nissan Almera, Mercedes A190)
Solved the problem too for a colleague at work (Ford Focus), though it only lasts 5-6 months before it needs repeating.
BTW, when you reconnect your battery, ensure you have your lights on full; it basically gives the initial current somewhere to go when connecting your battery and will save the ECU being a target. Never had the adverse happen, but seemed like sound advice to me so I just do it now.0 -

Is the door frozen shut or does the central locking not unlock or is the battery simply flat? The man without a signature.0
