When we got quotes for a condensing boilers last year the only two makes anyone offered to fit were worcester bosch and vaillant. We went with a vaillant one in the end (not a combi). From the point of view of energy efficiency Worcester Bosch vs Vaillant is pretty much equal. i dont think there's much difference in price. The Worcesters were wider but not as deep as the vaillant and so could be hidden in a standard kitchen wall cupboard if need be.
However on talking to the engineer after who installs both Worcester Boschs and Vaillants from a reliabilty and repair point of view he reckoned Vaillant were better and so he preferred them.
Anyways, no probs yet with our vaillant (touch wood!) so i'd recommend Vaillant0
