Which bank has sort code 40-12-23??

Just a quick question I hoped someone might know!

I have to pay some money in to an account and I have the details but not the name of the actual bank. I wondered if anyone would know.

I dont necessarily need the exact branch just which bank has sort codes that begin 40 - xx - xx

Hope someone knows thanks very much.

40-12-01 is my HSBC sort code
