Thanks for that Laura Ashley. Yours sales never stop and not all home items in your store are 50% off some only 30%.

I am about to make a big order with them, well biggish.

At the store I was told that if I opened an account I would get an extra 10% off plus they are giving 500 bonus points and extra points on purchases at the moment, so I thought I would look into that. Then I saw about the extra 10% if you sign up as a new customer and give an email address (as per their front page).

I did that but didn't receive an email so I registered with them giving that email address but there is no discount showing up on my order so I didn't complete it.

There is no mention of an extra 10% if you open an account, only their current deal.

So, I am not sure what to do. I will probably go into their store tomorrow. It costs such a lot to phone them so I am not doing that again.

I signed up with 2 addresses a couple of weeks ago and didn't get a code. Then I tried with a third address the other night and received one, it seems a bit random. Anyway the code I got must have been a generic one as it's the same as someone posted on the discount code board here:

thanks, I just found that post and it works. I will go along tomorrow and find out if opening and account will give me then per cent plus the other perks. Every little helps, as they say.

You get an extra 10% off for opening an account in store on top of any instore discounts. 500 bonus points are applied to your account (equivalent £5.00 voucher) and as they have triple points on whatever you then spend on the card you earn 6% (normally 2%) back in vouchers (these are applied to card and sent out with statement). Hope this helps

Obviously only worth doing if you pay it off in full otherwise interest applied!

Well, that certainly sounds worth doing. I always pay my card off in full. Off there tomorrow!
  • Thanks for this! I saw a rug that I wanted but was OOS online. Phoned my local store and they've got one which they're going to put to one side for me. Very happy but shame I couldn't use quidco or 10% new customer voucher online :)
