Camcorder software

Options
I've just bought a JVC HD Camcorder and am now looking for some good software that will allow me to edit and save/burn the movie. Any suggestions?

  • The basic software included with Windows or Apple are both ok for home videos.

Personally I like Adobe Premiere which comes in a free Express, modestly priced Elements and a full fat Pro version

If you're running Windows, Windows Movie Maker can cope with most file formats (free download if not already installed).
