Hi rachie29
My advice is to find your dream dress, like everybody tells you - you'll know when you try it on, it's the one!! Once you've done the hard bit then it gets easy, find out who the dress is made by, ie mine was a Maggie Sottero dress, look up the model name/number etc for the dress on the makers website and then ring round all the UK stockists for prices, I managed to get mine posted from a shop down South (Hants) to the Midlands and it saved my Mum about £400.
All I had to do was get my measurements to them and it was ordered in especially for me to get the perfect fit (made longer/taller). The shop were really great, very helpful and it was done by phone and e-mail, they were pleased of the business and we were well chuffed to get such a fantastic price - result!!

Keep looking - there are many shops who do amazing sales, I live in Kent and I brought in the first shop I went into. They had an amazing sale, the cheapest dress being £75. When you find THE dress you will find you can afford it :-) good luck!!!0

Thank you Pinktreacle and winnie1988. I really do hope I know when I have found "the dress!" and I am as lucky money wise as you both were! Going to keep going to places and trying them on. Hopefully going to try some a little further afield and then maybe Liverpool. Thanks again for your help

Wow, thank you for that Floss2! Which one made your tiara and jewellery out of interest? I did not realise there was so many that were not that far away. Sometimes googling doesn't work as well as just asking people! :TDebt free (if you don't count the mortgage!)0 -
Bridal Boutique, she's got 2 shops now, Church Street (the original with accessories) & Red Bank Road.
Just put bridal or wedding gown & your local town into Google
