Qmee - making money searching the web

Qmee seems to have made some change to their website that has it constantly using 100% of one of my CPU cores, as well as gradually eating up all my memory. That's it, I'm done with Qmee. What with the low payment rates on most of their surveys, and the high rate of late screen-outs, including an increasing number that are declined after I've actually completed the survey, and now this, it just isn't worth the hassle.

I cash out to Paypal at £2. I got stung once years ago on a cashback site and lost a lot. Then I use that money to purchase a jigsaw or something I dont want to spend 'my money' on. I dont spend long on Qmee as I did that 'click/survey' thing once and it overtook my life so Im not doing it again. I find up to an hour a day is more than enough. Its given me a few treats this year. Qmee is such an easy site.

Have never got Qmee to work on Google or EBay searches on either safari on my iPad or edge on windows 10. Last time it worked was on internet explorer 11 on my old windows 7 computer. Is this correct or something I need to install? I do have the Qmee installed on both setups and the surveys work of course.0

For the searches, you'll need the Qmee extension installed to the browser. I use it with Chrome on Windows 10.
But to be honest, the searches are no more than 9p max a day and most days there's none.
