  • I joined Qmee about a month ago. Earned £2.20, then decided to 'test' them, and asked for payment. Clicks failed to do anything, no payment, and I was then locked out of all surveys. Put it down to experience, annoying, but small loss. Still very unsatisfactory.

Is anyone else recently getting messages, after completing surveys, saying you didn't complete the survey but giving you a bonus "for your effort" equivalent to the full payment value of the survey?

Have noticed recently an increased number of late "screen-outs," in particular where I complete a survey and then Qmee tells me I was screened out, or that the survey already has the required number of responses. No coincidence, I'm sure, that this has corresponded with Qmee no longer giving the small compensatory payments that they used to sometimes give for late screen-outs. I suspect there are a number of survey providers who are reporting completed surveys to Qmee as screen-outs and using the data anyway.

So, first impressions of the new Qmee layout:

    - Fewer surveys per row, so I need to scroll further to see them all.
    - Payment value emphasised, while survey time is de-emphasised, and no longer possible to see at a glance the actual time that people take on average (I have to hover over each survey in turn to see it).
    - Completing a survey (or being screened out) no longer takes me straight back to the Surveys page.
    - Daily poll and quiz are now on a separate page, meaning extra clicks to access them.
    - Daily quiz now tells me the actual time it will be available, rather than time until - which is useful, but the time doesn't seem to stay the same each time I look.
    - Trying to cash out with PayPal gives the message: "p.paypalAccounts is null" - if I can't cash out, all the rest of it is moot anyway. Very annoying that this is the one part of the new website they don't seem to have bothered to test properly to make sure it works before the switch over.

Anyone else have any thoughts about the new layout?

<edit> Seems to have switched me back to the old layout now, my guess would be they received a number of complaints about not being able to cash out and decided they'd better fix that before forcing everyone onto the new layout.

Wish the survey would  disappear when completed

The new layout is back, and the PayPal cashout seems to be working this time.

I noticed that one of my first impressions was wrong - the average time users take to complete a survey is now the headline time; the time quoted by the survey provider, as well as the full range of times taken by users, appear in the popup when hovering over the headline time.
