Opticrom works for my eyes, with Flixonase up my nose and Benadryl Acrivastine tablets (not the 'One A Day' Ceterizine ones).
I also recommend using an ioniser, epsecially in your bedroom.British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -
My suggestion (and it is what I do) is buy a pre-paid perscription - around £32 for 4 months, and then go to the Doctors. Then I get the pills, nasal spray and eye drops and regularly use them, and get repeats. If you go away on holiday you can ask for a double perscription. It usually sees me through the summer season - and is much better than the false economy of trying loads of brands that don't suit. You simply get your Dr to perscribe (and you can keep going back until you find the right product.)
I totally empathise - as I suffer really bad - and this is the cheapest and best way to ensure I get the right medicine and enjoy the summer!0 -

I have heard that there is a injection you can have which covers the whole of summer. But know too much about it.0 -
I have heard that there is a injection you can have which covers the whole of summer. But know too much about it.
It a steroid jab and because of various concerns most doctors are unwilling to prescribe it.
My doctor was willing to send me to a specialist rather than prescribe the jab.
You might be "lucky" but on the whole you will find GPs unwilling to do it.
My advice is keep trying different things.
I tried loads of things but when I found the one that worked it made a massive difference to my life (I wasn't sleeping properly and affected me quite badly).0
