At a wedding!?0 -
I know I'm going to sound like an old f**t but it sounds like another idea to add to the stress of getting married ....and will no doubt soon become the next 'must have' like wedding favours and sweet tables2014 Target;

Oh girl where have you been!
I have to admit some of these 'must have' things makes my wedding (only 23 yrs ago) like something that took place during WW2 or whilst rationing was still in force.
Oh well each to her own !2014 Target;

To be honest I think they're a fabulous idea particularly if you have a lot of guests as you can lay the out alphabetically to make it easier to find your name.
They don't have to be anything fancy- just a name card with a number next to it. Given most people with put name cards on tables anyway this is probably less work that the original idea because you don't have to go to the hassle of making an actual table plan.0 -

I understand what you're saying but to take the next logical step why not list the guests name on a sheet of whatever size paper and opposite their name just a table number? (have been to dinner dances that do just that)
Don't get me worng they do look different but it just seems to me that it just adds another stress level to the whole day and will get that if you don't do it, then somehow the wedding will marked down (think of an 4 weddings - what a b!tch fest that is!)2014 Target;
