Quick one,
How long should a WPA2-PSK password be? I assume longer the better, mine is currently set at 63 characters, which I assume is overkill.
Plus it makes setting up things that don't have copy and paste a complete nightmare.
Leave it like that or change it to say 14 characters?
Thanks

They can be as long as you like! 63 characters is definitely overkill in my opinion, but if you can remember it then I can't see a problem. If you save the password on your machine it's not something you have to keep typing in.
A 14 key password is long enough, but using a mixture of uppercase/lowercase numbers and symbols will make it a lot stronger than say firstname+lastname.
You can also get password managers that generate very strong passwords, and store them for you so you don't even have to remember them. Although I've never used them personally as I don't like the idea.
My passwords of late consist of one keyword which is complex, then I tag on a unique identifier on the end which is relevant to the particular website.0 -
Thanks, used roboform and generated a 16 digit password consisting of numbers, upper and lower case letters, and symbols.
I have ad to change it since setting up my sky adaptor has been a complete nightmare, plus it's a lot easier when friends are here and want to hook their phones up to the wifi.
Most of my website passwords are as above a set of characters with numbers tagged on depending on the website,
Appreciate the advice.Sigless0
