Car accident

Hi, before i get flamed for this i hold my hands up and know im in the wrong.

Back in oct last year i had a minor bump in a carpark in the van i was driving while reversing, i know im stupid but i thought id hit a curb or somthing not another car. Anyway long story short i drove away, next thing an insurance assessor contacts me from the other people and i tell him yes kn the carpark but stupidly didnt realise if i had hit anything and if i did im really sorry and will pay for damage, no people were hurt.

Fast forward to this saturday and the police contact me for a statement which today i gave. Omg im in bits now, clean driving licence for 25 years and no convictions for anything so no dealings with police ect, anyone any thoughts or know the procedure for this please . Thankyou

Did they advise you that you maybe charged with any offence?
I heard they do bad things to driving offenders in Winson Green

TBH I don't know, how do you think the interview went?

Yeah, that will see the op convicted in court.

Reversed, felt contact, didn't look to see what it was and then drove off.

Bang to rights for a fail to stop.

If anything similar happens again, it's probably a good to get some advice before agreeing to talk to the police.

Yes definately i would do that rather than worrying myself sick, never had dealings with police and never wish to again.
