Anyone recommend a French 'speaking' site?

It's more for the pronunciation aspect.

Is there a site where you can type in a phrase in French and you can hear it spoken back to you?

I've got the google translate app on my IPhone - you can use it orally as well as for written form.

There are a number of sites which say they have audio guides for French pronunciation.

I've never used any, so can't offer any specific recommendations.

But if you google 'french pronunciation audio', or something similar, you should find a few options.

Try forvo.com. I believe you can specify different languages.

    ETA. Yes, you can. http://www.forvo.com/languages/fr/

Listening to french radio either on MW/LW is great to get your ears around the language. Lots of stations on line too!

It depends greatly on what your level of french language is at the moment.

I was taught in the O Level stream, so I can't help but break french into grammatical sentences, or need to see it written down to comprehend and converse (albeit, imaginary writing in my head), whereas others that were taught CSE or language only are far better at the spoken word than I am.
