Help with University project

Very sorry if this thread is in the wrong section. If it is, I'll remove it and place it in the correct one.

Hello.

My name is Nathan Ingle, and I am studying Graphic Design at Staffordshire University. For my current project, my client is a celebrity chef, and he/she has asked me to create a restaurant based on the Bush Tucker trial from the TV series "I'm a Celebrity, get me out of here".

After a lot of research I have finally come up with 14 names for my restaurant, and I need you to decide which one to pick.

Thanks a lot for the help, it is greatly appreciated.

The choices are:

1. Witchetty Watering Hole
2. Roaches Restaurant
3. Delicacy Diner
4. Rotten Ristorante
5. Jungle Joint
6. Crazy Cafe
7. Bushtucker Bistro
8. Ostrich Outlet
9. Insect Establishment
10. Choppy Chophouse
11. Disgusting Diner
12. Camel Chophouse
13. Food Court Forest
14. Sheltered Supper
15. Other (Please specify)

Again, thanks a lot for your help.

Is the name that important? I'd just call it 'Bushtucker'.

Definitely not 11. Why would anyone go to a restaurant with the word 'Disgusting' in it!?

Good Luck and nice uni :) (although you will be at the Stoke campus, booo hiss)

Surely the chef is going to be the one to decide on the name of their restaurant, not some random strangers on a forum?

I'd say steer clear of anything with negative connotations (insect, disgusting, etc.) and pick a name that's not too long.

Jungle joint (although I wonder about the use of the word 'joint'!).
  • 1. Witchetty Watering Hole I like this one
    2. Roaches Restaurant I don't like the thought of cockroaches and my dinner mixing, given that it conjures up the thought of poor hygiene
    3. Delicacy Diner Doesn't get the idea of what you're trying to do over at all
    4. Rotten Ristorante Again, problems with food hygiene. And I don't remember bushtucker trials involving gone off food?
    5. Jungle Joint Good
    6. Crazy Cafe Sounds like a social enterprise to get people with MH issues into employment
    7. Bushtucker Bistro Good
    8. Ostrich Outlet Sounds like you just do ostrich
    9. Insect Establishment No
    10. Choppy Chophouse Not unless this is a steakhouse whose proprietor has had a frontal lobotomy
    11. Disgusting Diner Food hygiene again... 'disgusting' isn't really a trait I like in my food
    12. Camel Chophouse Like the ostrich one
    13. Food Court Forest Sounds like something rather sterile in a 90's shopping centre
    14. Sheltered Supper Sounds like you're feeding the homeless
  • 7 is the best option. Or, as others have said, preferably just 'Bushtucker'.

    This is your tutor speaking.....

...well no it isn't really but do you get my point? No need for names of you or your uni or what course you're on - far too much information!
