hi does can anyone help me on this we bought 2 3 seater in jan 2011 they said i only had a 1yr gaurentee the leather is peeling off and sinking we have had a manager out to look he said its in terrible condition and as hes only the seller we would have to take the manufacturers to the small claims do i have any right as its 2years old now and why should i have to take the manufacturers to court isnt that up to the shop please help

The retailer is responsible for the sale of the furniture. If it is a manufacturing fault he needs take it up with them as he is their client.. All furniture carries a 12 month manufacturers warranty which has to be honoured by the retailer. After this time the retailer is still responsible for up to 7 years for the furniture to be 'fit for purpose'
