Sorry to hear you are feeling down. Sending you a cyber ((((Hug))).
First off,are you seeing a dentist for the toothache? As this can "get you down. Resolving this may help.Once that is sorted, how about fresh air to lift your spirits,if possible,go for a light walk.If the sunny weather holds up,that may boost your vit D intake.
As for recommending a vitamin; I suggest a trip to the midwife/GP for their advice .They could check you over and reccomend what would be suitable for you at this time.0 -
pregnacare vitamins are suitible during pregnancy as they don't have any vit a.
you can also take paracetamol during pregnancy, but NOT ibuprofen/aspirin/nurofen.
also try inhaling steam over a bowl, i wouldn't use vicks etc as they can cause nose bleeds and you are more prone to them during pregnancy.
the best advice i can give is see the dentist (it's free!!), put your feet up and demand a back rub off your OH.
hope you feel better soon0 -
Sorry to hear that. I've had umpteen problems over the pregnancy and it gets me down as well. I'm looking forward to the end now!
Best advice is just to chill out as much as you can. Get your other half to do the cooking and forget about the housework for a couple of days. Do whatever makes you feel better, be it a gentle walk, curled up on the sofa with a film or book, having close friend(s) round for a natter and so on.
You need to look after number one at this time, as the more relaxed you are, the more relaxed baby is.
Also talk to your community midwife. She might be able to offer some tips and advice to help.
Take care xxHere I go again on my own....0 -
It's quite normal to catch everything going while you're pregnant I think as your immune system is not as good as usual......I think I've had 4 colds and a bout of flu so far since January, and I'm still deaf in one ear following my last cold (which started 4 weeks ago). I also had a stomach bug a couple of days ago. It really wears you out feeling ill all the time, but I think it helps to know that there's a reason for it, and that you're not alone.
Make sure you have plenty of rest, plenty of fluids, take paracetamol if you need it, and most of all take care of yourself. You've got just over 3 months to go, and all will be forgotten when you hold your little baby in your arms."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
oh bless ya dollop it's a bummer!
Take it easy rest as much as you can and have lots of hot drinks to try and keep everything moving so you feel less stuffed up. And get down the dentists...
Can I add my hayfever to the moans... oh and my SPD... although seeing the chiro today so that should ease one of them...0 -

Hugs and snugs for Dollop!!!
I know how you feel...it has just taken two weeks for me to shift a cough and cold (before lovingly passing it on to DH!).
Put your feet up, have a little relax and think about how wonderful it is that you are pregnant and going to have a baby very soon!
Take care and when you feel up to it call the dentist to make sure your gnashers are ok...

Have you tried a breathe right strip on your nose at bedtime? I know it won't make you feel better but if you can breathe at night you might get a better night's sleep... that is if the baby isn't keeping you awake!
I thought pregnacy was dreadful so i fully appreciate how fed up you are, just do lots of moaning at everyone, it helps!
good luck0 -
My commiserations. I'm in the same boat. Only trouble is its landed on my chest. At 6 months my GP doesn't want to give me antibiotics but as I'm asthmatic he may have to consider it if it doesn't improve. Paracetomal works ok, also I find inhaling steam before bed helps (but not with vicks or menthol). Concentrate on looking after yourself. I also take pregnacare multivits because I don't have any appetite. (I put on 3kgs so far.)0
