Reclaiming PPI

hi there, was just wondering, is it possible to contact my bank and request details of all my exsisting loan details to use that info to claim PPI? i have a loan at present which i do not pay PPI on; cancelled it a when renewing for extra funds, but i was paying PPI on my previous loans; renewed a couple of times now. how do i stand with that?? thanks

    Do you have any provable reasons for a miss sale.

    You say in your post, you only cancelled it for extra funds, so you must have wanted it before hand when you signe up for it and been quite happy to pay for it.

  • sorry, i was paying it on my existing loans but cancelled it the last time i renewed when all this claiming for ppi malarky came out. just wondered if my bank would release the details i need to show i was paying it before. cant find copies of old loan agreements anywhere:mad:

    You could always ring them. Other than that, send them £10 for an SAR

    Subject Access Request (SAR). The bank has to provide all it has on file for you for at least the last six years and (sometimes) more. It costs £10 and they have forty days to respond.
