I love my dispenser (luckily I got it from Car boot).
I also have v small kitchen and no free worktop space, but my dispenser has screw holes and I've not got it fixed onto the wall.
One of my fave kitchen gadgets!..although i do seem to use a lot more clingfilm now, then when i just used the box blade.0 -
...forgot to add...
another tip that I found on here re: the box blades..
You could 'treat' yourself to an expensive cling film brand, which should have a superior blade, and then just pop in your 'lidl' one, into the same box, once the posh stuff is all used up.0 -
When I open a new box of clingfilm or foil I put a strip of that silver tape (duct tape)around the box edges and under the cutter. not that we have kids at home, but my OH always wrecks the boxes!0

(its not my tip i saw it on one of the nigella lawson programmes)
I used to struggle until I saw that same programme as you."A government afraid of its citizens is a Democracy. Citizens afraid of government is tyranny!" ~Thomas Jefferson

Thanks for all your tips, will try and educate them the Nigella way until I can have a look at the alternative buys.0
