I have a Veritas Alarm System which over the past 18 months has gone off for no apparant reason when not set, tamper red light comes on.
It has just happened and it seems it is triggered by either a very, very brief powercut or spike, because today my computer was reset and the oven timer now needs resetting, but our alarm clock and micro wave seems to have been OK.
Any ideas of how to overcome this.
Thanks.

i think all alarms that are worked by the house electrics will go off on power failures and spikes
have you tried http://www.texe.com/uk/support.php as they have community forums etc that may be better suited0 -
It'll be the backup battery in the alarm system has gone duff (they don't last forever). How old is the system, and when was it last checked/serviced?0
