So im looking for short term car insurance help.
My Mum wants to buy my car off me, so it is agreed that she can start driving it as soon as a sale is completed on hers. We estimate this to be about a month. My car insurance policy runs out in a couple of weeks, so will need to re-insure it, if only for a short period of time.
For me to re-insure the car with Swift cover
(11 month policy 1x £58.23 1 10x£27)
£52 Cancellation charge
Bearing in mind i would be paying a large 1st sum, and then a cancellation charge I'm looking at £110
Alternatively my cheapest short term quote was from
Aviva -28 days cover for £171.76
Interestingly i couldn't find a site which offered a comparison of insurance providers for term cover. Both moneysupermarket.com and gocompare.com only suggest certain providers.
So here's the question.. Is there a wiser way of spending my hard earned cash here? Help and suggestions would be truly appreciated.

Are you replacing your car? If so, go for annual cover and do a change of vehicle on it.0
