Would I qualify for a Laura Ashley credit card?

I am about to make a big purchase from them and would welcome the extra discount they offer when you open an account. I am a bit concerned that they won't let me because of my income. I already have a John Lewis Partnership card which is my main card. I am retired with a private pension of just under ten thousand but qualify for my state pension in early March which will bring my income up to around £16. We have no mortgate and our outgoings including food are less than £900 per month. My husband has a private pension only of around £13,500 but not sure if they would allow us to open a joint account. We have no debt whatsoever and always pay our cards off in full each month, which is what we intend to do with the LA one, of course.

Does anyone know if I am likely to be refused because of my low income? I am trying to budget for my refurb at home but want to get in on a special offer they have which finishes next week.
