Got a sky on demand adaptor today, I have mac filtering set up on my superhub. But can't find the mac address on the wifi adaptor from sky.

Have called sky, they were as much use as a chocolate tea pot, google isn't helping me either.

Anyone know how I can find the mac address?

Thanks.

I concur. On the other hand, it's not exactly difficult to find out...
    • It's usually written on the device
    • It can be read by the operating system of any computer you care to attach it to
    • Packet sniffing?

Attached it to a computer, couldn't find it. It's not written on the device. Will disable mac filtering, had it on for years, forget why. Still annoying me that I can't find the mac address. According to sky it doesn't have one.

Turn off MAC filtering, establish the MAC address. Then turn it on again?

FWIW the MAC address is stamped on the base of my Sky Wireless connector (Netgear version).
That gum you like is coming back in style.
