Renault Scenic Help

I have recently bought an 03 plate Scenic and had a bit of trouble starting it today.
We went off to the supermarket no problem but as I tried to start the car as we left it wouldn't start, just nothing when I turned the key, however, I think I caught the locking button as I turned the key and wonder if I upset the immobiliser??
I managed to bump start it but had to reset the radio code and it has started fine since.
I think I will get the battery checked just to be on the safe side but wondered whether anyone knows any more about this?

That may be it, I had the radio and blowers on for probably 20 minutes without the engine running as the kids waited in the car while I was shopping.
